La Closeraie
I designed & developed a website for La Closeraie, a cozy vacation home in La Roche-en-Ardenne. The family wanted to rent out their house without depending on the big rental platforms.
The goal was to make the experience as smooth and welcoming as possible: a site that feels personal, is easy to manage, and gives guests all the trust and information they need to book with confidence.

Behind the scenes
How to elevate the rental experience?
The goal
The owners needed a digital space that could truly represent their vacation home. It had to show the character of the house, provide all the practical information guests might need before and during their stay, and make booking requests simple and personal—without relying on middlemen or big rental platforms.
How we approached it
We focused on clarity and ease of use: clear structure, multilingual support, and practical info always easy to find. The design had to reflect the warmth of the home itself, while staying professional and trustworthy.
The outcome
The website now gives guests everything they need, in one place:
- A contact form to make bookings
- Photos that capture the vibe and details
- A personal introduction to the home and story
- Practical sections for arrival, activities, and house rules

Wireframes
I started with wireframes to map out how guests would move through the site: from discovering the home, to finding answers, to making a booking request. The goal was to cut out clutter and make sure every page had a clear purpose.

Design system
Next, I built a small design system: fonts, colors, spacing, and a few style rules. It kept the look consistent and gave the site a calm, trustworthy feel—important for guests making a booking decision.

Component library
From there, I created reusable blocks like photo galleries, info sections, and call-to-actions. This made it easy to keep things consistent and flexible, so the owners can expand the site later if needed.
CMS blocks
Since the family wanted to edit the site themselves, I set up content blocks in the CMS that match the components from the design. This way, they don’t need design knowledge to keep the site looking good.

Final designs
The final screens combine everything: clean layouts, friendly typography, and a warm color palette that fits the Ardennes atmosphere. It’s practical for guests, but also personal—something you’d never get from a standard rental platform page.
